Scott R. Chiles; a funeral director/embalmer and certified crematory operator, rejoined Chiles–Laman in July 2008. Scott and his wife, Tammy, have two sons, Nicholas (Jennifer) Chiles, and Ryan Moore; a daughter, Krista Moore; and three grandchildren, Mason Chiles, Daylen Moore, Miley Chiles. Scott graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1969, and received an associate’s degree in fine arts from The Ohio State University, Lima in 1980. He graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1983, and became licensed in 1984. He is a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 96; the Fraternal Order of Orioles, Nest 173; and professionally, belongs to the Ohio Funeral Directors Association. Scott and his family attend First Baptist Church.
